It is bittersweet to announce that Susan Simone is retiring as Township Secretary in December 2024. Susan has been with the Township for 17 years and throughout her tenure with Pocopson, Susan has made significant contributions to the Township. Most significantly Susan was always been very proactive, looking ahead to prepare the Board of Supervisors with changes to regulations, deadlines, and ordinances. Throughout the years, Susan has been instrumental in securing and administering several important grants.
Susan has been a wealth of knowledge and has supported the Board of Supervisors throughout the years by keeping the Supervisors apprised of issues before the Township and provided essential information necessary to make important decisions.
Susan has always made the best interest of Pocopson Township a priority. Each day she brought her tremendous knowledge, organization and efficiency skills, and sense of humor to the office. She will be missed by all, and we wish her the very best of happiness and good health in her next adventures.
