Sealed bids will be received by Pocopson Township until 12:00 PM, local prevailing time, on June 13, 2025, in the Pocopson Township Administration Building, 664 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The contract for the project generally involves the milling, base course repairs, and pavement resurfacing of Corrine Road in Pocopson Township.
Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Sealed bids are to be addressed to Pocopson Township and delivered to the Township Building located at 664 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382. An electronic version of the bid package is available by contacting the Township office at (610) 793-2151 and available on the Township website (www.pocopson.org). Hard copies will be made available by arrangement with the Township. The Board of Supervisors of Pocopson Township intend to announce the successful bidder during their meeting on June 23, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 28, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at the Township Administration Building (664 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382).
Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates are applicable. Pennsylvania Act 127 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Workmen’s Compensation Insurance Certification.
Pocopson Township reserves the right to accept and award any bids in whole or in part and/or reject any and all bids or parts thereof, as deemed in the best interest of the Township.
