TOWNSHIP MANAGER/SECRETARY—Pocopson Township, Chester County, PA, seeks a skilled leader to serve as its first Township Manager. The Township is 8.4 square miles and has a population of 4,455 including approximately 1,000 residents of the Pocopson Home and Chester County Prison. Manager oversees all day-to-day, administrative operations, and coordinates with the three-member Board of Supervisors, small staff, and the community. The Township is a residential, agricultural and historic community located in the heart of Chester County. Manager administers a total budget of $3.89m. Township is looking for a motivated and proactive leader to serve as the first manager. Candidates should have (1) a minimum of 5 years of municipal government management experience (2) outstanding interpersonal skills; (3) strong financial skills and planning/zoning knowledge; (4) Bachelor’s Degree (Masters Preferred); and (5) strong communication skills.
