Locust Grove Schoolhouse Open House

The Pocopson Township Historical Committee will be holding an Open House at the restored Locust Grove Schoolhouse on Sunday July 17th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.nThe historic building served the community as a public school from 1816 until 1923. The interior of the building has been restored to interpret the life of a school student in Pocopson Township in the late 19th century. The building has displays of vintage photographs, historic documents, reproduction school desks and books, and representations of typical school clothes worn by students in the time period.nThe street address of the historic building is 525 Locust Grove Road, West Chester, PA.
