Founders Day 2026: A Joyful Celebration of Community and Tradition
Bring the whole family and your fur babies!
Founders Day brings together neighbors, families, and friends for a day of fun, food, and games under clear blue skies and warm sunshine. Set against our town’s charming country backdrop, the gathering evokes a spirit of community and the comfort of shared traditions.
From the moment the festivities begin, you feel the delight of a picnic on a sunny day. Children love the pony rides and face painting, while adults watch contestants in the always-entertaining doughnut eating contest and the impressively competitive apple peeling contest. One of the day’s most beloved highlights is the dog costume contest, where our four-legged friends excitedly romp around.
The delicious aroma of local cuisine fills the air thanks to a fantastic lineup of food trucks, offering everything from savory street eats to sweet treats. And, the Rolling Doubles will be back on the stage with great music!
Community members were quick to share their appreciation for last year’s Founders Day. One attendee wrote,
“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you. This was the first year that we came out to Founder’s Day and it was a really nice event. My kids had a great time. We will definitely attend next year.”
