Please be advised that on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 7:00 P.M., prevailing time, at the Pocopson Township Building, 664 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382, the Pocopson Township Board of Supervisors, will conduct a public hearing to consider and immediately thereafter during its regular meeting decide whether to adopt the following Ordinance titled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF POCOPSON, CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, REGARDING THE AMENDED AND RESTATED INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING THE BRANDYWINE VALLEY SCENIC BYWAY COMMISSION AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS. Section 1 authorizes the Township to enter into the amended and restated Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement establishing the Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway Commission. Section 2 confirms compliance with the provisions stated in Section 2307 of Intergovernmental Cooperation Act. Section 3 sets forth the amendment procedure regarding the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement. Section 4 provides for severability. Section 5 provides for repealer. Section 6 provides for nonsubstantive formatting and number changes. Section 7 provides for the effective date.
